I'm assuming the answer is no, but wanted to ask. I'm going to rezero my 9mm SBR and 15-22 SBR to a shorter distance, hopefully Friday morning.

Both have Vortex SPARCs, which come with a screw-in 2X magnifier. Not sure if I'll use them or not...but does it matter?

Mine does not affect zero on my EOTech. Now, that said, if it is not a screw in type, and cheap, you can have some wonky POI. and the dot is like, in the top corner, not centered.

Thanks. This one is screw-in. I've used them one or twice before messing around, but not while sighting anything in.

I would think the screw ins would have minimal to no effect they should be in good alignment.

The cheap Chinese tandem I had caused a 2.5-3 moa shift.

Ended up using the 2X magnifier. Sighted in the following two SBRs at 100':

1. 4.5" 15-22, Spectre II, Vortex SPARC, Federal Automatch
2. 7" 9mm, Octane 45 (I think I had the 9mm end cap on it?), Vortex SPARC, Georgia Arms 147gr

Kinda surprised the 22 gave me a tighter group.

But that's still all 32rds in a group my palm would basically cover:

Figured those groupings at that distance should handle most anything I'd want to do with those particular rifles.

I think my next step is to buy a couple hundred 147 JHPs and run a couple mags through the AR to verify function and aim, then use it for HD instead of a pistol.
