What are the chances Chatham will support the Constitution?

This notice was sent to all of us in the Facebook group who had signed up to speak at the next meeting in support of the proposal:
To answer your question, there isn’t any opposition from the board of commissioners. We are preparing a resolution and plan to vote on it at the next meeting. I have reached out to your admin and let them know that we support this effort. I am personally an avid shooter, gun collector, and strong supporter of the people’s right to defend themselves. Passing more gun laws that only effect law abiding citizens won’t stop bad people from doing bad things. I appreciate everyone’s emails, but it wasn’t needed to convince me that we need to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. I am always happy to discuss this and any other beliefs and positions.
