Master Chief Rudy Boesch

Master Chief Boesch served 45 years in the Navy, almost all of it in UDTs and SEALs, is in pretty advanced stages of Alzheimer's. I fear Master Chief doesn't have long on this earth.

At one time he was the Bullfrog (longest serving SEAL), and is well-known for his incredible fitness.

As y'all know, I am no big fan of NSW, but he is a stud's stud, and was a model Chief.

You know they are looking at his chest, asking "Master Chief, what the f**** is That one for??".....

Great guy, I got to meet him once at my Field Med graduation. There were 2 Senior Chiefs going through my class and he was friends with one of their husbands.

I never met him, but my uncle who died a couple weeks ago knew him. Apparently they worked together on a couple special projects at one point. My uncle was not a SEAL but instead a Seabee, but they collaborated a few times on a few things.

They do not make sailors like that anymore.

I only knew him because of the show survivor. The day he drank water out of a stagnant pond and all the soft civilians freaked out and him saying “I’ve got an iron stomach. I’ve drank worse than this you derelicts” was my favorite moment of the show.
