Dang place is going down hill....:(

Taint no telling. Doubt it cost anyone the overall win. It was just a goofy thing to add

You started the same way Brian did.

Stage briefing said strong hand holding phone to ear, weak hand touching one of the x's

Learned I neet to be more patient shooting one handed and let the front sight settle before squeezing off the next round

"And now for something completely different..."

A video from a Wild Bunch Action Shooting match. The shooter uses black powder cartridges in cowboy action matches and decided to try loading with black powder, which is no problem for the (.45 Colt) lever action rifle or the 12 gauge Winchester 1897 pump, but surely a 1911 pistol won't operate with black powder.

This is a video from one of our monthly cowboy action matches in Greenville. This gentleman shoots in the "Gunfighter" category which means a pistol in each hand. His revolvers are reproductions of the "conversions" of the 1860 Army (Colt modified percussion revolvers to accept metallic cartridges prior to the introduction of the Single Action Army revolver in 1873. I wasn't familiar with the period conversion revolvers before I started shooting cowboy action; they are pretty nifty. For those interested, the rifle is a Braztech reproduction of the Winchester 1892 in .357 and the shotgun is a reproduction of the Winchester 1897 pump shotgun, in 12 gauge. In cowboy action the shotgun is "staged" empty and loaded and fired "on the clock", with one or two shells at a time.
