Liked it. Pretty interesting how they figured it all out. That fake Documentary interview was pretty interesting pretty creative technique.

Wife and I didn’t remember it either. Watched the first three this afternoon. What a collection of characters.

First, let me apologize if I missed the thread, I did a search for 'anything' and 'title' and nothing pulled up.

I just finished binging McMillions on Prime, it was a HBO documentary series on the Monopoly McDonalds scandal.

I didnt know anything about it, but early 00s it broke that the game was being set up that all the big winners were buying their tickets from one person or something.

Pretty good watch, I'd recommend it!

I watched that a few months ago and was blown away! I had no clue either. Definitely worth a watch, so bizarre how it was related to the mafia...

That thread didn’t really go anywhere but I also watched this series, right after Tiger King. It was entertaining for sure. I remember when I was a kid, I loved the Monopoly game. It was a little disappointing to find out the game was rigged.

It was rigged, but not by (McDonalds) design.
Also, it was neat to see how it was a huge deal....and then 9/11. What would our society have thought of it had we seen the whole thing play out?

Good point, I didn’t really give much thought to the alternate outcome had 9/11 not occurred. I wonder if McD’s would’ve taken a huge hit to sales and brand value since the trust was completely shot.

In the doc I THINK it said something about they took a HUGE hit when it went down, so who knows what could/would have happened if not for 9-11

My buddies and I in high school would play this game collectively. The four of us would collect tickets and we had an agreement we would split whatever we won. Every year we were foooo sure we were going to win that million dollars LOL
