In light of my post previously (https://www.carolinafirearmsforum.com/index.php?threads/med-ruck.41999/), I built a med/trauma ruck with some spare parts. I used a medium ALICE ruck as the base. To be honest I really enjoyed putting it together, but I will probably sell it.

This is FAR more than an IFAK, something one would use for extended operations, disaster/SHTF, keep in a cabin, etc. Things I am going to add: a couple 5oo ml saline bags and a couple IV set-ups, more basic bandaging stuff like 2x2s and 4x4s and kerlix, and a self-contained "boo-boo" kit of bandaids.

Diagnostics:
BP cuff
stethoscope

Tools/equipment:
Leatherman Micra
trauma shears
suture removal kit
USGI pocket knife
Nite Eyes OD head strap for Maglite
chem sticks (x 5)

Airway:
OPA
NPA x 2

11 blade scalpal

Breathing:
Pocket mast
Bag-valve-mask

QuikClot Trauma Pad
QuickClot dressing
4x4 x 2
kerlix x 2
TEB ("The Emergency Bandage) x 2

Disability:
SAM splint

Exposure:
Emergency (i.e., "space") blanket
Air-activated heat pad
chux x 2
