Been using Open Office for years, no complaints. As mentioned above, it's FREE!

I use Libre Office and Google Docs.

Though I think MS Office is now available in a free, cloud-only version. It may have other feature limits as well.

Are you saying that you want a legal, freeware alternative, or that you want instructions on how to get an illicit copy? Those are two separate questions.
