The Battle of Midway is getting blockbuster-ized.



Bit over the top with CGI in my opinion.

I’ll definitely watch it because I like the CGI in the Dogfights series on the History Channel.

I’m no expert on WWII aircraft, so I’ll find it disappointing if they don’t go for historical accuracy with their CGI.

For example, in that scene where the Pearl Harbor street is being strafed, it looks like they put machine guns where the 20mm cannon went (assuming it is a Zero). If you won’t make a quick trip to the Air and Space museum before making your film...I will likely be underwhelmed with your effort.

Yeah, I know some on here liked the Pearl Harbor remake but that Affleckian acting plus a bit of craptastic CGI and terrible historical mistakes around equipment made it unbearable for me!
