Yep!The dude with the cigarette in his mouth is sandbagging.
This is what we refer to as an "oh shhhhiiiiiit" moment when in a 180 foot buoy tender. Picture is from 1977 in the PI during a typhoon rescue.

I would really like to hear the story around this.
On the CSMs grass!Yeah, that's gotta be a GOOD story!
Offensive personalized plate? Not parked properly?
This has the potential to go either way, depending on the story.
My one and only bad run-in with a Marine Sgt Maj, he did something that pissed me off, and being a corpsman and therefore an Untouchable, was being passive aggressive. He pulled me in his office, had me standing at attention, told me he knew the Master Chief that made the assignments, I was free to act how I wanted and so was he. After that chat he and I saw eye-to-eye. The power of a Sergeant Major or a Master Guns is NOT to be underestimated or trifled with......
Probably parked on his grass.
It would be a short lived victory, and I'm sure SgtMaj would have the last laugh......but I would call PMO on his ass, taking someone's license plate off is illegal.
Well the lance Cooley went in and called PMO, and had thg dude's car towed.
I knew another guy who hated the 1stSgt and knew that he and the rest of the staff would hang out in the company office at the end of the day and have meetings over some beers. He called PMO and gave them the 1stSgt license plate and vehicle discription and told them at what time they could expect him to start driving.....got popped for DUI.Talk about taking risks.
