Honouring those who served on this site this Veteran's Day via this image is awesome!

However, the independent service branch (as of 2019) known as the Space Force appears to be unrepresented in the image.

Please don't take this as a complaint, as I'm not a member of the missing branch. It was simply something I noted in passing, and I'd hate for veterans of that service branch to feel slighted or left out due to a simple oversight.

Respecfully,
Surreal

That image makes an excellent point that the USSF is an independent branch into which other service branch members may transfer (and are transferring as part of initial staffing). I believe it is well-understood that during a transfer, someone doesn't leave one service branch until transfer to another is complete. I also believe the above fails to consider the >2400 transfers that have already been completed.

From militarytimes.com as of Feb of this year:

@Jeppo - Just because the branch is small at this time doesn't mean it should be left out, does it?

Does the Space Force have members who are no longer serving? So maybe they do not have "Veterans" yet?

The above is an EXCELLENT point. It's also something to which I do not have an answer, so I tend to err on the side of inclusion. But that's me. As an example of why: the USSF just might have veterans if, say, the discharge was post transfer in ... and the result of something medical.

See op, it’s on there, your screen just isn’t wide enough to show it. I’d suggest a new wide(r) screen monitor or new tablet or phone!
Exactly why I did a capture of the image!

And @Studentofthegun - appreciated ... though raising this isn't (and was never) for or about me. :)

I dont think they have a song either unless they are sharing with the Air Force.
