Model 10-2

I love the tapered barreled 10s and 64s. I have a model 64 no-dash that is this one's shiny twin. I love shooting that gun because it's accurate and balances well
Seems to be a good pointer. I might carry it.

Very nice man, I’ve never been much of a revolver shooter but I really want a .357 & .44 mag, I had a really nice 3” 686+ but like an idiot I sold it and regret it bad.

I recently got a 686 and it’s kinda turning me into a revolver guy

I've owned a few model 10's and 15's. Lovely revolvers. I think everyone should have one in their collection. A while back I traded my model 15 for a 1968 dated model 19, because I wanted to be able to shoot 357.

I don't know if I could get over that bobbed hammer. Not a fan of DA only revolvers, myself.

It dont bother me. I can still cock it. I never shoot one in single action unless I'm just messing around at the range.

If there's anything better than a .38 Special K frame, it's a .357 Magnum K frame.

And, a DA revolver is meant to be shot DA.

Nice shooter OP, it'll serve you well. Although I'm partial to the L-frames, I used a k frame 65 for many years. I bought a -2 model when they were phased out, a fine shooter. I can't remember the last time my thumb was on the hammer when shooting.

I bobbed the hammer on my GP100, and likely will on every DA revolver I ever own. I personally have zero use for the hammer spur.
I really dig that model 10. Back when .22lr was scarce, I could shoot reloaded .38s cheaper than .22. I became kind of addicted.

Waxing! I thought I was the only one that ever waxed guns. I first learned that trick back in the 70's.

Love the gun, including the wear. ;)
Its smart if you hunt in the rain or sweat alot like I do. Wax it the best protection for your gun.

I'm notorious for wearing the blue off of guns in the grip area. Back when K-Mart still had guns, I was a Sporting Goods manager and I waxed all the display guns. Made them all shiny and purty. :D

Wish I'd bought an Ithaca 37 back then.

Renaissance or auto wax? I use a car wax but I'm think about buying some just for guns.

@Mightyox04 : Very nice!

Tried out a Model 10 today for the first time - Fits my hand like a glove... guy wants 600 for it, it's got some wear and a lil slop but weight, balance, and grip feel tailor made for me. My sights are set on something different but model 10 is sweet.

My model 10 fits me perfectly as well. It had one of those things you add to the grip but I didn't like the way it looked so I took it off. Turns out I didn't need it, the standard grip was fine.

Threads like this is why I am always confused...

I need a model 10, and a GI 1911, but I’ve been wanting a Scorpion, but those CZ P01s are nice....

I've been saving for a sweet 1911. Then a guy on the fire department asked if I wanted the model 10.
