The M2 on my oldest sons hummer was made during the Korean War.
A lot of the reporting on the war seems to ignore the fact that Russia is arming a lot of Ukrainian separatists in these regions.
I didnāt read the details and watch this video, but several others completely ignore that and act like the Russian army is equipped with outdated cobbled together arms.
The equivalent would be acting like the US army is equipped with DPMS ARs like we gave to Iraqi army folks we were arming.

That's a relatively new one! There are WW2 era M2s in service.
