Does doing this really affect zero all that much?
Lets say sliding a glass scope forward or backward a quarter inch, but not actually moving the mount.
You long range and/or hunting guys would know more about this than I do.
Yeah I've done this and I always recheck zero. But in theory..should you be able to move the scope, re-tighten, and call it good?
