Im sorry to have to start a thread for this, but I was trying to find out which member it was that has/had a MP5. I THINK he was down around Charlotte area, but I might be wrong on that.

Ive tried searching and cant find the post

I meant Scott actually has one. I've shot it before, just not exactly sure which model it is.

Unless you bought the one he had...
 
Naw mine came from Frank. So your saying Scott is holding out one me? :) Just kidding his must be a post sample or not for sale because when I was looking he didn't have any HK MG's for sale. Now M16's that is another expensive story :)
 
If the OP or any of you guys for that matter wants to test fire mine (when it gets out of jail) your more than welcome. My brother has a 200 yard range we can shoot at.

Rock Hill is awful close to Charlotte...and my dad is in Ft Mill. Just let me know when it's approved. :D

(And file a 5320.20 for NC as soon as it's approved :p)
 
Id LOVE to try one before dropping a few grand on one.

Looking at some SP89, because i like the retractable stock, but I really want a HK piece.
 
Jim at Side Arm Sams has some HK51, HK53 ams MP5’s can set you up with a sear also. The guns are just back from T Dyers. Jim is a really nice guy also. But as I said you guys are welcome to try mine. I have one of each in jail with an HKG3K

Yeah, Im looking at semi auto versions, a tenth of that, or less.

He does do online sales just google Sidearmsams and it will come up. Then give him a call he normally has stuff that is not listed.
We shoot in Clover, SC my brother has a 200 yard range so we can shoot whatever we wish.

I'm a bit confused by your post here - are you looking to test drive a full size MP5 or the smaller K version? I ask because you mention the SP89 which is the semi brother to the MP5K. The collapsible stocks don't fit the K's they will only accept a folder.

While everyone seems to love a "K" I honestly prefer the full size guns due to longer sight radius and the A2 stock is more comfortable. I run a modified A2 stock on my Sp89 when in MP5K configuration.
