My cousin brought me some stuff that he had in storage. One thing being a case of MREs. The best I can tell, they are dated 11-08. Are these any good?

If they are still any good and some one wanted them, I'm located in Beulaville just off of Hwy 24.

If they have been stored under climate control than yes, they will still be good. And even if they had not they're still better than 50/50 years shot that they will be good.

I have some that are 12 years old and been stored well.... however they all get the sniff test as I randomly sample them. I wouldn't want to trust them if they get much older.

I've had many before that were well over 10yrs old with a great deal of the storage conditions unknown, the commercial candy gets plastic tasting and/or crumbles, the rest of the stuff is usually fine.
Cheese spread and peanut butter may be separated beyond kneading, but it won't kill you. The crackers get a little off too.
1 out of 20 might have a swollen entree, 1 out of 100 leaking, don't eat those.

This has been my experience.

The cheese did end up having a weird texture when cold. But once heated it was fine. Crackers were kinda stale but didn't make me sick or upset the stomach.

candy, well it's candy so...

As mentioned above, they’re fine as long as the package isn’t swollen. If it is do not eat it. Hell don’t even open it
