Is an MSAR AUG clone close enough that parts and accessories intended for a Steyr AUG will work on it?

Thanks!

Thanks. The appearance is the same, but unsure about the innards. There's a used OD green one, no mag, in Durham at a pawn shop that is tempting. It looks to be a later generation due to the square takedown button. I'd like to have a bullpup as a go-bag gun someday.

When I get the money, I will get a PS90 and SBR it for that reason.

Parts availability is the only thing keeping me from owning an MSAR. I’ve heard nightmare stories about small parts breaking and taking the whole rifle down because they couldn’t find a replacement. If it was super cheap I’d still buy one though and just take it easy at the range.
