What multi tool are you carrying? I've been carrying a Leatherman Juice and it serves me pretty well but I never use the corkscrew on it.

Leatherman Micra on keychain and the Wave in my car.

Skeletool. MUT will be my next one probably.
I tried to like gerber but broke 2 pair trying to cut fence wire. Not sure my Skeletool will do that but I’ll be trying it soon

Modified LM Blast
What modifications? I'm looking to replace my Juice and have looked at the Blast and Fuse models on eBay. I like the looks of the Kick as well but it's tools don't lock so it's prob out.

I really cant...
Just.
Too.
Much.

BUT
FOR THE MOST PART:
-Leatherman Wave
-Leatherman Signal
-Leatherman Skeletool

those are the full size that I will often EDC by themselves.

Daily, as a teacher, I EDC a Leatherman Style PS - no blade except some very small scissors. And you'd be surprised by how often a small pair of pliers and screwdriver comes in handy at a high school.

Sometimes I'll add a Vic Alox Cadet to the Style if Im not going to work but want a very lightweight EDC.

Beyond that - Ive got about a dozen or so Victorinox tools, a few knock off tools, and too many to count Leatherman tools. I'd guess in the ballpark of 50. Maybe more.

I like to keep a very minimal EDC though.
Usually just a MT, small light, phone, keys, wallet.

Other than the factory tools, I cannibalized a cutter from an SOG multi-tool and added it to the Blast...

I have a wave and a gerber mp600. I like both but have broken the end off of needle nose on the wave. I filed down the other side to match the broken one. The Gerber has had a few broken cutters and file. All in all they were both free to me. If I was to buy one I'd get the Gerber because it's as good as the leatherman for about half the price. I also filed the serrations off the straight blade on the wave. I put it to a razors hone and now it's nearly a straight razor.

Great thing about LM is no-question warranty

@HMP Sounds like you have plenty to choose from. Have you tried one of these out? Thinking about getting the Leatherman Freestyle and then one of these for the keychain. Really all I need on me are screwdrivers and a pair of pliers.

No, Ive not. Im real picky about what I carry - pretty much Alox (aluminum scaled Victorinox swiss army knives) and LM only.

Yes, Ive got more than I know what to do with.

One thing that I didnt mention above, but should be noted - Ive got Wingman tools stashed all over the place.
Picked up many for 20 or less and they are GREAT tools to keep in the car etc

Took your advice.....hopped on eBay and an auction was ending for a Leatherman Wingman that was used but in great shape. Got it for $20.50 shipped. Thanks

The Wingman is/was their 'entry level' tool...but, honestly, it's one of my favorites
It has so many features packed into it for a super low cost.
And, never forget, American made.

Leatherman Wave.

I work on a college campus, which by the definition of the brain stem-less morons in our legislature is still a school, but you’d be surprised (or not) at the number of people carrying weapon grade knives, bought for them by the school no less. Just look for the little clip on their pocket.

I've got about a half dozen Gerber MP600 stashed around.

Leatherman Skeletool CX that I snagged on ebay. I like that the knife blade is one-handed opening, so I can use it just like my regular pocketknife. It's only be slightly thicker and heavier to have the extra tools.

@HMP For anyone that may be interested the Leatherman Juice C2 I mentioned above is being listed in the classifieds at a fair price.

Mine's modified. Half Wave, half Blast with a Rebar head. I've got the smaller flathead and awl this way, instead of the abomination that is a serrated knife edge.

I’ve carried a SOG Powerlock EOD for over 20 years. I’m on number 3 (wore out the first one, which they replaced under warranty, and lost the second one in a hay pasture about 15 years ago so I’m now on number 3. It gets used almost daily.

If I'd have logged on earlier I'd have snatched it up. Got one just like it that I enjoy

I thought I snagged a Wave today for $43 shipped but the seller refunded my money and claimed they had mistakenly relisted an item that had already sold.

I have two.
One I paid...gosh, I dont know, maybe 80 bucks or so.
The other I found at a gun show, a gen 2 (current model) for $20.. I was stoked.

Carried every day, Swiss Army Mechanic knife. Two knife blades, small pliers (with wire cutter and crimper), awl, phillps screw driver, small and large straight screwdrivers, can opener, bottle opener, toothpick and tweezers all in a very compact package.

Ok, now all this talk about multi tools has me shopping for one. Gerber or Leatherman? Why? Warranty? Customer service? Never owned one. Looks like they come well equipped, some stuff I may not use. I dunno. Open to suggestions. Perhaps there is a vender here I can support?

I've only had one Gerber multi tool, a Dime, the rest have been Leatherman. I like the features on the foreign made Dime but I can honestly say it's quality is lacking in comparison to Leatherman. I have heard the USA made Gerbers are great, but have never handled one. Either one can be found at good deals used if you have the time/patience.

Multitasker or bust! I fell in love with my series 3 a couple years ago. I mean a multitool that his gun oriented. What's not to love.
