I actually saw @BigWaylon s post on another forum when I was trying to investigate this, so thought I'd ask here.
I have a Griffin Optimus that came with a 'minimalist muzzle brake'. I've used it on several guns because it is a quick way to take the suppressor on and off. I'd say I have 2000 rounds through it both full power and subsonic loads.
I don't have a picture of it at this minute, but it looks crazy worn. Instead of (I assume) perfectly round hole, the first hole from the barrel is oval.
A couple questions:

A couple questions:
- Does it matter (for accuracy), is it just doing its job of being a sacrificial baffle? When do I swap it out?
- Is this out-of-round happening too soon- should I ask Griffin to take a look? That other thread I mentioned had round counts in the tens of thousands.
