My first suppressor experience, or screw hollywood.

I'm glad that your happy with the service you have received from JKSilencer.com. I wish I could do more demo day and giving you a chance to shoot them, but it seems to late for that. I typically have an open door when it comes to doing demos and have yet to get to the range and not let a new shooter try a bit of the suppressed life. If anyone is on the fence and would like to give them a try give me a shout and I'll do my best to get silencers in your hands.

I must admit I was a bit under impressed with my first suppressor. I didn't know anyone that had one and had never seen one at my local gun club. Unrealistic expectations? Now I have 2 Form 4's and 3 Form 1's I have a much better understanding of what works and why. Luckily what I shoot most for fun is what works well suppressed. I recall the first time I saw 5.56 shot trough a high rated can. Instead of KBoom it went kBoom. When you don't understand the why and how of the operation of any device its easy to be confused about expectations. I still like the sound of a .22 Benchrest gun shooting sub sonic over a 1022 shooting bulk. That was a big hint on the why and how things work that I didn't fully understand years ago.
