my Swedish mauser

any thoughts about the sling ? original ?
I hope to get out to the Downeast Garand shooters , looks like they will welcome other military guns...
 
I’ve shot one of their Garand shoots years ago. I did ok. Good guys. A lot of walking. I attended their preseason class a couple times. I would love to try my 96 Krag or 1903 there but too much going on. Nice Swede. Also have a Carl Gustav 1903 and a Husky. Fine rifles. The 6.5x55 is an excellent cartridge too.
