So with my job change I'm doing less physical labor, so it's easier on me, but I still have to roll a lot of product. Some of my aches and pains went away, and some new ones started. I was popping Ibuprofen pretty regularly and wanted to try something different.

I picked up some Zyflamend Whole Body supplements to try. CBD was also recommended but being a CDL driver I would have to be very careful which of those I uses. Some still have THC in them and not sure how much would set off our random drug tests. I took the whole 30 capsule bottle, 2 pills per day. The results were far better than I expected. Shoulder pain mostly gone, and I stopped waking up at night too it. Felt great in the morning. Most of those aches and pains just went away.

When I ran out I decided to not get anymore to see if it actually worked or my mind was just wanting me to think it did. Well, not all the aches and pains came back but some certainly did. Heading back to the store today to get some more of it. Not the cheapest thing going but 2 pills a day works better than all the ibuprofen I was taking. This is it if anyone is interested.

Any way to head to quest Diagnostics or whatever on your own dime, and see how hot you come up on their testing?

I would like to try both/either. NSAIDS will nuke your kidneys if you take them long enough.
I have to have bloodwork 3 times a year because of the anti-inflammatories I'm on. The last one didn't look so good.

Where do you even buy CDB? Hopefully not some shady teenager...

The 'shady' ladies at the Arboretum health food store in South Charlotte have an endcap full of commercial CBD products. Endless companies online will ship you 'artisanal tea' which coincidentally, is CBD products also.

Yeah, me too. Last time I went I was in stage I/II chronic renal disease from NSAIDs. Now I take Tylenol 99% of the time.

I switched to Motrin/Alleve because I heard Tylenol kills your liver.

I need to look into turmeric, CBD, and chiefjasons suggestion.

I would say large doses or extended use of acetaminophen will harm your liver. Same with large and/or extended dosages of ibuprofen do the same with your digestive tissues.

There's always poppy tea.....but the way its' going, if you have a poppy garden you had better keep quiet. I personally do not, but great granny always had a bit of poppy tea around when her back hurt. I never ever saw her take a pill, ever.

Over 3000 Mg per day, around 2010, they changed it from 4000 mg a day

yeah man, that is alot of anything........Vitamin C, B12, any of that much less an analgesic or anti-inflammatory.

I cut my motrin usage to nearly nothing by doing yoga, walking more, drinking more water, and the occasional 6 mile hike in the mountains.

Pick your poison, right? Acetaminophen nukes your liver, NSAIDs, your kidneys. The difference being there is larger (much) margin of safety with NSAIDs. With Tylenol it's not hard to go from therapeutic to toxic, which is why they dropped the max safe dosage from 4g/day to 3g/day.

I like the lazareth CBD. "but not the unscented" Others seem to like Charlotte's web. Finding the right one is a trial and error process. Its different for most everyone. You can only get the one with THC in states where recreational weed is legal. This is a good CBD oil facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/cbdoilusersgroup/ More info that you will want to read. learn the difference in volume per bottle as compared to the strength of the cbd. This issue can be confusing. One bottle may have twice the cbd as another bottle the same size for the same price. I usually buy online. Head shops also sell the stuff. In WNC there are quite a few CBD oil shops. A new one "specific to CBD" just opened last month in Asheville on Patton.

For acute pain I have found ginger to be remarkably effective. Even the little candies "ginger chews" in the grocery store work. I sometimes put about two tablespoons of grated fresh ginger in a cotton bag or tbag in a tea pot with hot water. Drink a few cups of that at knight and you will be pain free. Ad a couple fingers of shine and you will feel even better. A little bit of clear alcohol does seem to amplify the ginger effect.

OK, Sure,
but in all 50 states Hemp Oil is legal, and you can buy it at Whole Foods...
When I was on a strict Keto diet in early 2016, I was chugging the stuff... I was also using it in almost everything, as one of my primary fat sources...
I contacted the manufacturer, who assured me that the THC, which still existed at the molecular level, would in no way show up on a government drug screening, unless I was consuming 14 tablespoons per day or more... I was consuming at least twice that amount....
Just saying, be careful, the feds wont care how it got into your system, or if it was from a legal source or not...

Read up on essential oils. Young Living is what I use and they definitely work. Panaway is one you could start with in conjunction with Lavendar I sware Im not making this up. I use different oils all the time for different ailments.

The facebook page I listed talks about just that very much. You should be worried. There are some that have such a small amount it is undetectable. I cannot quote which ones. But that face book page is very helpful.

I can attest to that. I used to have serious road rage. Started putting lavender oil on the sun visor and the rage disappeared. Worked so well I started using it as a hair tonic. Now when someone says "I smell pretty" it does:) not even bother me.

My wife has started taken CBD oil and says it's made a big improvement in overall pain as well as her wrist which has a cyst and carpel tunnel. It's just not cheap.

A coworker or two swear by magnesium oil as a topical agent for sore muscles.

Here is the ingredient list. A lot of these are recommended for pain and inflammation. Iirc the amazon link shows about .33-.36 cent a pill. CBD was about $1-$2 a pill where I bought this.

Reviews were a mixed bag. My guess it’s similar to what I’m getting. An herb blend. Heard it was pricey too but so is this stuff.

I've been taking one turmeric capsule per day for several months. My use of ibuprofen has decreased dramatically. I only take it for out-of-the-ordinary stuff now, like a fever or headache.

Turmeric is supposed to be good for psoriasis too but when I tried it it made my patches feel like second degree burns.

I take turmeric daily, seems to help. Im sure I do enough damage to my body already without adding a steady diet of NSAIDs to it.

Tart Cherry is a natural anti-inflammatory, widely sold at grocery stores. I have never personally used it, but some close friends have claimed good results. I have personally used Kratom with good results. The only issue with Kratom is that a small dose acts as a stimulant, and a large dose is sedating, so you have to experiment a little to find your sweet spot. If you are ever in Asheville, the Kava Bar is a good place to find it pre mixed in different dosages. I have given CBD some thought, but I would have to basically be guaranteed that I wouldn't piss hot before I used it.

Not quite the same as what everyone else is talking about, but I take a shot of this every day.

I played a lot of basketball and baseball when I was younger and as I got older it caused my knees to ache and pop all the time, my shoulder to ache most of the time, and I also have a bad back from working in a factory doing non-ergonimically correct jobs for 13 yrs. When I started taking this stuff, most of the daily aches and pains went away. I had previously tried just about every glucosamine capsule made, and none of them worked anywhere near as well as this stuff does. Plus this has a couple of different anti-inflammatories in it as well that the pills didnt have.
I know it works for me, it works for my mother who takes it for arthritis in her shoulder that her doctor told her "just live with it", and several friends I work out with also take it.

For those of you taking turmeric, try adding some fresh ground pepper, I’ve read that it helps with absorption an utilization. Pepper is good for you anyway.

I might have to look into this. I know several people who swear by CBD oils. I know some are supposedly "cleaner" then others and won't cause you to fail a drug test, or so they say. They claim that the test would have to look for CBD which almost no tests do, they typically only look for THC.

I use magnesium, in the form of oil, spray and cream. Works for me to relieve soreness, swelling and cramping. There are two Greensboro companies that make the products I use, (not sure if I can post names in open form) one of them just released a Hemp product that I might try.

I would like to try them but I can’t due to current contract with my doctor and the lack of acceptance of it in SC
