just a quick question about trading guns ftf. so i am looking at trading rifles with another seller, is there any point in going to a gun store in nc to do the transfer? its my understanding it still wont be registered in my name? is this correct?
I'm asking seriously.maybe i am not sure. just disregard this
that is what i was going for.You want the firearm linked to your name?
A good ol' solid butt slap is a valid substitute, while a fist bump is not.No one told me about the handshake requirement.
Here come the po-po.
Uh no butt slapping eitherA good ol' solid butt slap is a valid substitute, while a fist bump is not.
Some here even believe it's ok to simply use a pants-down man-hug.
that is what i was going for.
Federal law says you can only deal with folks who live in your same state, or with an FFL when outside your state. And that you can only receive a handgun inside your state.

Huh? Why??that is what i was going for.
you guys are blowing this out of proportion.
you guys are blowing this out of proportion. it was just a question. we did a bill of sale for my piece of mind.
No need. It's provided. Pickup location is @Chdamn 's basem.... I mean house, yeah, that's it, house.should i buy some ass cream?
Did you get the blood sample? I find it best to just prick a finger and use the blood as ink for the fingerprints. Kind of a 2 birds, one rock thing.
I can't take credit @The Green Heron showed me that nifty little trick.
Who you calling old???You, of course, have done nothing wrong in asking the question. The first answer you got is pretty much accurate 100%. Durham has (or had) some weird laws. Not sure of any other locality. The state does not require a FFL to be involved in a FTF long gun purchase. OR a pistol/handgun, if everyone has the right paperwork.
The grumpy old man answers you received are to be ignored, or responded to with what they deserve: even more good-natured and sweet smelling bulls*it.
Lol! Only if you ask the wrong curmudgeon to sign a BOS.
