I need a bigger one since my current one is too short to accomodate my CETME 308, something that des not break the bank but gets the job done. 2 rifle bag would be ideal. Anybody have something they like?

IMO, the Savior Equipment rifle bags are very hard to beat for the money. Have owned quite a few different bags (shoot 3gun) and these have been great.
Available in various sizes.

I carry some of my larger rifles in either a Pelican case or the Drago padded rifle bags. You can hold 2 + pistols, magazines, etc

I have a bunch of the Midway brand 2 gun drag bags. The go from my hse to my suv to the range and back. They work well for that and the small 3 ring binder dope books fit in one of the outer pockets.

I used to have a larger one of those years ago and it would have worked well but Midway does no longer seem to carry them. They were the first place I looked.

I have an XXL Husky soft tool bag from home Depot.
Used it for PPC matches when I had to bring a plastic cleaning caddy for downrange, 2 or 3 guns, all ammo, 10 mags and 10 speedloaders, 2 stiff competition belts with holsters and speedloader/ mag holders, etc etc.
Big and roomy, tough enuf to hold weight and can be zipped shut if not overstuffed.
Also use it left open as a cargo organizer in my truck back seat.

Doesn't scream 'guns inside' and a lot less $$ than branded range bags. Just doesn't have all the pockets etc so use soft cases and mag caddies etc.

So, a combo do-it-all, carry shi* and guns?

You can't really secure the rifle but I like the deployment bags. Sit flat, multiple sections, can put an AR in it. You can find them pretty cheap. If you are into spending money for Guggi gear I also dig Eberlestock.
