Wife and i are shooting a match in march and one pickup gun will be an ak pattern rifle. Probably 7.62. She has never worked one and will have to load and then render safe when done. I am hoping someone in rtp area that owns one might meet me at woodys so she can learn. I will pay your range fee and pay for ammo can bring a couple of toys to play with afterwards.

I'm in the Winston area and belong to PHA and have a few AKs. Wouldn't mind at all meeting you if nothing else works out and you didn't mind traveling. At PHA there are no range fees since I'm a member.

PHA is awesome. If I didn't live so far away, I'd love to try for a membership.

Keep in mind that unless using a special mag the AK does not hold open after the last shot.
