I don't own an AR but do own a 3d printer. Made this for a buddy but it is really tight at the buffer tube. He could sand it or I could re-print it but wondering what he would need to change out the buffer for a Mil-Spec which I think I found was a few millimeters smaller in diameter. Like what's the cheapest he could do this for and where?

Easiest would be to try a different buffer tube. Someone here will probably have an extra. Or look somewhere like midway USA

Per Mission First:
Mil Spec size 1.148" diameter
Commercial spec size 1.17" diameter
I believe the interior dimensions are the same.
