Netflix is trying its hand at the zombie thing.

I watched the first episode tonight. I’d give it maybe 6/10. Acting is a little hookie at times. But the zombie genre pulls me in. These are fast zombies that the actors need some help acting more like zombies.

I watched a few episodes. It's a lot of the typical terrible decision making/horribly unrealistic survival tactic stuff as all the rest with a low budget and below average acting. I may finish it, I may not...

I binge watched the first season kept waiting for it to get better,IT DIDN'T.
Can't understand why others can duplicate the formula that made walking dead so successful.

I think I made it through the third episode. I'm probably tapping out. I just couldn't get into it.

We watched the first episode. I turned it off twice. The acting sucks and the military uniforms and beards drove me up the wall.
Yeah. I could live with facial hair after some sort of event like that, but the sloppy bodies doesn’t cut it. Guys wouldn’t look like flabby grocery shoppers after just a few weeks of craziness.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought it sucked. I watched it all the way through the 1st season can't imagine there will be a second.

My 12y/o daughter is having a fit to watch it. I will watch it with her of course. Any reason why I should not allow her to?

Little bit of language and *slightly* more scary than typical zombie flicks. Some scenes a little outside the zombie plot, too...like a guy holding some women "hostage" in a house that two survivors thought was vacant. Makes you say "WTF is he doing with those people?!"

Started watching it with my 13yr old yesterday. Pretty violent, lots of blood. Second or third episode in a woman trying to get a ride tells driver "I'll suck your ****". She says it pretty fast as car is driving away so I'm not sure she heard it. Didn't watch past that episode as I'm afraid there's gonna be more of these situations.

I'll say, for the first episode anyway, it was a *little* more "realistic" than TWD in terms of language and situations that people would put themselves into. Who knows: another $10,000 for the acting budget and they might have had something OK.

I'm going to give it at least one more episode before I pull the plug.

I will say for the record, fast zombies are more scary. Slow ones are not to be taken lightly as they're sort of like drowning--still makes you dead. But fast ones freak you the hell out before dying, so you die with poop in your pants.

It was bugging me who the actor for "Patrick" was in the show. Finally connected my dots:

This "DUST" studio makes some really good short story flicks. "FTL" was a pretty good one, I thought. He was the astronaut/test pilot.

I hate the walking dead, its to over the top. Its a world of zombies we dont need to top the last episode by giving the zombies AIDs the next episode. I was goint to try "Black Summer" but i think I'll remove it from my list.

You gotta look at the zombies as a metaphor for the UN or some other invading force it's an us against them scenario and training event.
