New build recommendations

@NKD I ended up ordering that grey ALG rail. I also found a Superlative arms 750 set screw gas block so its on it was too. I think I have everything ordered or on hand now other than the optic. Now just looking for a great deal on another MRO. Thought about trying the new green dot one but IDK if its worth the extra $$$ over red.

Picked up an MRO today for a deal. Now to decide on a mount for it. I like the BAD mount I have on my other MRO but they're OOS everywhere. Might pick upon SLR mount for it.

I got the BAD and like it. Doesn't someone on here or the Canadian forum have a Scalarworks for sale? Or did I see that on AR15?

Yeah I like the bad. It’s solid and visually appealing. I don’t go to Canada lol. Ended up ordering the slr mount for it.

Yeah going to be close. Might shim it out a bit with a crush washer or the shim kit they included. Looking good. Hope to have finished pics before lunch

I do especially since I went with the silver raptor CH and the ALG trigger is silver. I was going to order the silver radian selector but it was OOS. I do think it looks hot! lol The grey BFG vickers sling will look good on it too!

I know you ended up not needing to shim it...but please don't ever use a crush washer on a silencer mount. :eek:

Yeah I read that in the instructions after I opened the box. What’s the theory behind it? The torque punt on the can will eventually make it loose?

They usually don't crush evenly. Not an issue for a projectile going through the barrel and a flash hider. But could be a big issue for a projectile that also has to go through 6"-9" of silencer baffles once it exits the muzzle, since most cans are only ~.060" overbored.

So I made the trip to TSF today with a buddy so he could order an sandman s and I took my pistol with me and Scott let me throw my k on my gun to check clearance. Looks so sweet to me what y’all think? Unfortunately I had to leave it with Scott since the king hasn’t blessed me yet.

Looks damn near perfect to me. Good to see how the Keymo attachment looks since I'll be running it on my Chimera.
