WOW!
Im stunned by the direction they're going. IF they do this right they could actually expand their customer base by a lot.
We'll see.

And, I got to say, before I post the pics, how much earlier, and BETTER, could these have been if they'd never shut Buell down... the ADV and StreetFighter bikes were already being made and could have been altered some to fit the HD line. But they would have had almost a decade (to this point) to refine refine refine to make them AMAZING.

I look forward to finding out more info on these, but they look great. Look forward to price, power, weight etc

I guess most of us can recognize the sound of a Harley coming. Will future generations listen for this?

I dont care about the electric, but the others have my attention.

I think it's great that HD is heading in this direction. Keep the traditional lineup, but expand to hit other audiences too

I dont think there is anything that can save them. Young people just arent buying motorcycles and if they do they get jap litre bikes

Not all
Plus the insurance on a liter bike is very high for young folks

I dont ride but I get it. Saw the CEO on stock mkt channel today. The interviewer said (so as to not put words in CEO mouth), 100 new models by 2027. I didnt understand anything he said about their global operations but he said all bikes sold in US will have motors made in Wisconsin. Always have, always will.

It may be but all of my friends with bikes have either Hayabusas or r6. Thats the only two options. I'm the only one with a Harley
I dont know your age, but I know Ive seen a lot of people quoted RIDICULOUS amounts for insurance on big bikes.
Me, for example, at age 25 was quoted 550/mo on JUST THE BIKE when I was buying my 1125R, not including my truck, and that wasn't going to bring cost down either. I changed to Farm Bureau and it was a lot better, at a hundred or so a month for the bike. That's still a lot of money many younger, or older, people dont have .

I was reading recently an issue of Motorcyclist or Cycle World (I can dig it out if needed) where a guy was talking about similar - a Duc sportbike killing him on insurance so he went with the Duc SuperSport and saved a ton.

I dont know man.

I still see a lot of young folks getting into Harleys, and my heart will always be there too

what are you selling and info on it?

The electric bike is cool, ride 40 miles a day everyday of the month for 30 to 40 bucks in electricity. That's pretty good.

I've been looking at Husqvarna dual sports. I might wait.

They would do better to step back and build a flathead 74 as well as a 37 Knucklehead and forget about modern plastic bikes.
They tried that but it wasn't popular. They called it a 72. I liked it but I wanted a touring bike so I ended up with a Road King. No regerts.

Im not sold on electric bikes yet, but they are interesting.
I drive too much that one would not fit my needs
Plus, any bikes I buy in the future will need to have a robust dealer network available. With Buell, once HD said that their dealers didnt HAVE to stock them, it got difficult to get parts quickly. Mostly had to order online or drive over an hour to the closest dealer worth a dang

There are some with 220 miles in a charge. Now that's not bad.

I'd like the adventure, so I can hit the woods if need be, say Russian road blocks or some such.

That StreetFighter is pure sex!! I have a Buell XB12S and a CTX700 but I think if have just one it will be a big cruiser. Think StreetGlide!
I like that one too, but I got supermoto in my blood so that alone attests to my bad attitude.
Motorcycles got me in my fair share of trouble when I was young & good lookin'. Other than that I was a good kid. They still have the potential to, but at least now
I have brains.
My bro has an XB12 too. He loves that thing. He's rode it around the country, adv'd Baja a bunch of times, I think he has like 70K miles on it now.
My buddy in Daytona had an S1 lightning. That thing was fun as hell. Wheelies on demand. The shaking motor kept breaking the header though, like all the time no matter what he did.
I dont care about the electric,
I got conscripted to be the Tech Inspector for the (then new) electric bike class at VIR in 2010. They were mostly frankenbike contraptions of all manner. As the tech I was like wtf? Is this allowed is it not allowed? Who knows. No one's ever tried it before. So I just concentrated on making sure nothing was leaking and nothing was gonna come flying off.

Iā€™m 27 and have been on a harley of some sort since 25. Never had anything else, donā€™t think I ever will. Iā€™m glad to see that they are continuing to use the revolution motor, it doesnā€™t have the traditional harley sound but is a great motor from everything Iā€™ve seen on it. They dropped the vrod line up and it looks like they are replacing it with the new bikes.

that street fighter is about the only one I would consider getting.

The live wire is meh, and actually has been around for a while just never massively produced but a few are out there

The custom is a little too cafe style. Not my cup of tea but to some it might appeal to some in that market

the adventure is fugly, at least the front end of it is. Itā€™s 2018 and that is the best they can do.... come on now.

I'd have so many LED's on the front of that thing , people would think it was a freight train coming down the road!

The Adventure is the only one that will look good with hard bags on it. A bike isn't much good for traveling anyway without quality lockable, hardside, waterproof saddlebags and top case.

I think most harley owners or potential harley owners want a more classic or traditional harley look and sound.....its why people want a harley. They are trying.....but it will be a tough sell.

I'm trying hard to understand this...
ETA A lot of people who have rode a lot of miles would disagree....

Why? Unless you are Michael Parks in "Then Came Bronson", riding on a long trip is much harder without hard luggage. Sure, you can get tbags and tank bags and bed rolls and such. But if you want to hike or go inside somewhere away from your bike, lockable hard luggage is the way to go. If I can only have one bike, I want it to do a lot more than just "cruise" the boulevard.
