So I've been wanting to get an appendix carry rig for a while but with me being just under the 300th parallel I've been reluctant lol. Well I've done a lot of research and decided to try the Tier 1 Axis. WE will see how it goes. Heres a link to the holster if anyone wants to check it out https://www.tier1concealed.com/products/new-axis-custom . I initially wanted the T-rex arms side car but with this one bending in-between the pistol and mag carrier it seemed it might be more comfy for my gut.

Be sure and give us a good review of it.
Of particular interest to me is it looks like in order to make it bendy in the middle, there is an overlap that could potentially wiggle and pinch the skin a bit.
Hope it doesn't do that for you...

I was all set to buy one of these but then someone had a great deal on a T-Rex sidecar in the BST. So I bought it and it did not disappoint. I can make my G19 practically disappear on my 5' 7", 155 lb. body. And do it comfortably without oversized clothing. I'm sure the Tier 1 will work out well for you. The sidecar style is a home run.

On my way back to the crawlspace.

Maybe I can get @Butter to put it in the calendar this year lol

Ok, if you think it's worthwhile.

I wish you were closer. I'd like to try that holster before dropping the $$ on one. I'm not sure how comfortable it'd. Be for me. 6'4, 240lbs
May be better over my right hip

I'd say just tie up the funds for a few weeks and try it out but, man their return policy is tight.

Holsters are so subjective. It really is tough without actually wearing one for a while. Body shape and size is so important to comfort, especially with AIWB carry. Wish I could help out but it's my only carry option at the moment.

I always wished someone I knew had an AIWB rig I could try like t-rex or this one. I'm not really a big guy but I guess I just have a bit of gut that makes it so uncomfortable. Would like to see if these holster make it better but not going to drop 70 bucks or more to find out. Maybe at a class or something one day

Isn't the Raleigh show coming up soon?

Got my holster today. Craftsmanship is nice. Wore it to supper and some errands. Standing up is is the most comfortable holster I’ve ever worn. Sitting down was a learning experience but I loosened my fat boy belt and lifted it a bit and was fine to sit with. I did have to move my belt buckle to my left side to accommodate the clips on the holster. Here’s a few pics and yes I’m a large framed guy so don’t look if hairy fat belly’s gross you out lol

Dude that's awesome and thanks for posting the pics, takes balls. So question, I'm not that big of a guy but definitely have a belly. Did you notice the love on top of the gun or magazine getting sore or feel it poking in after a while? Do you feel this is the absolute new way your going to carry, or on the fence?

SO yeah I'm a fluffy guy and while standing up I didn't notice it digging in it was more of a gentle push, no soreness at all, One thing to think about though is I have HYVE base plates on and I could see where a standard thinner base plate on the spare mag might get uncomfortable especially while sitting. While sitting there is more pressure but if your belt is loose enough you can adjust it where the gun is pushed out at the top before sitting and its much more comfortable. I think if I'm going to be in the car for 45 mins or more I will simply slip if off and put the holster on when I get out of the vehicle. If less than 45 mins I'll just keep it on. One thing I may do is buy one of those Ares gear Agis belts because they are infinitely adjustable like a boy scout belt so you can adjust it for sitting down or standing very fast and easy. As far as carrying concealed I would say this will be my go to now. When I first started carrying it was IWB at 4 o'clock and that was ok but tended to make my back hurt so I moved to OWB at 3 and thats ok too but It was just too noticeable. This is easy on my back and very concealable as you can see in the pics.
