As some of you know I have been in the firearms industry over the last 10 years in many roles. My main role as a Trainer to Compliance Officer with War Sport Industries, also a Semi-Custom Rifle Builder for my own brand. Besides the eighteen months at War Sport Industries, all of it has been a two job one pay-check kind of life. My primary employment has been Nuclear Security as a contractor for Duke Energy over the last eight years or so. Well, Duke Energy cut the contract this month. Bad for them, good for me in many ways!

This month I started a new role as the Product Manager for Military Products based out of Pinehurst NC. We have two brands, Tac Shield and Sport Ridge. This role is 50% new product development and 50% marketing of the two brands. I know this role is a perfect fit for me and my family.

Tac Shield is 100% American Manufactured gear designed for the US military, focusing on the American Warfighter. The items we manufacture are currently sold in all five services PX systems online or in the stores and used around the globe by our servicemen and servicewomen every day.

Sport Ridge is our shooting sports brand that rugged quality products that do not fit in the Tac Shield brand. Some of these items are American made or sourced overseas depending on the price point we are trying to reach. Each item is selected and placed in the Sport Ridge brand based on its utility and the highest quality.

I just wanted to give you all an update on what I have been up to and look forward to more interaction as time goes on here on CFF.

We are running a 25% off the whole cart special until 10 January 2020 on Tac Shield products if anyone is interested.

I hope this will be an excellent thing for you and your family, and I hope it will be fun for you as well. Sounds interesting.

Nice gear on both websites! Enjoy the new gig!

@JBoyette , for us non tactical folks what is the difference between a riggers belt and the gun belt?

Great question.

The main difference is the buckle. The Cobra buckle is finely crafted, and strongest load bearing buckles available anywhere. They are also the only stab-lock style fastener designed in the safety products market that will not open while under load. But when both tabs are activated the buckle releases.

Our Riggers belt is also a great buckle but its more of a routed option. As in you route the loose end through the buckle and Velcro it onto its self. The riggers belt is a hard core belt to hold up my pants and CCH gun.

The inch measurements 1.5", 1.75" is the height of the belt or webbing width. how ever you want to look at it.

How I use this stuff for Ar / Precision rifle range days. I run the 1.50" Inner Duty Belt 95% of the time. Its routed through my pants and its my EDC. I CCH with this belt as it is too. When I go to the range, I pull out my 1.75" Tactical Gun Belt w/Velcro Liner on the belt is all my Ammo pouches, dump pouch and so on. I open it up, line it up with my Inner Duty Belt near the small of my back and SNAP the cobra buckle. Now the Velcro is engaged between the two belts and the Cobra Buckle is engaged and holds it all in place.

I hope that helps.

Quick question...

Will any of the pouches yall manufacture accommodate, say, a couple cans of tuna?

LMAO :D:D:D:D:D

Seriously, though...congratulations on the endeavors and I wish you well.
