New Kawasaki H2 Supercharged Sport Tourer!

The motorcycle industry in the US are in trouble with falling sales and they are going to have to start sweeping changes to thier lineups to survive. HD is in the biggest trouble ,thier average customer is 55 and up. The rest of the age groups below make up the least number of sales. I think the Super Sport segment and the Sport Touring segment are going to merge, like the bike listed above.

I won't buy another motorcycle that doesn't have Cruise Control, heated grips and storage. I may buy a either a KTM 1290 super Adventure or a BMW GS1200 Adventure next time, I got what was comfortable for my wife for right now. Honda dropped the ball with thier entries into the Adventure market sadly. No Cruise, and No heated grips.

Interesting. As a former ZX-11 owner and a current Gen II VMAX owner, I may have to keep a keen eye on this new Kawasaki being developed.

I heard just yesterday that Kawasaki is getting out of the market to refocus on heavy equipment. Something about the former president for NA stealing 100,000 bikes to show inflated sales results.

Maybe it’s not true.

I’m big into off-road riding, and Kawie is dumping their ATV line after 2018 so you may not be far off. They still have a few trail/mx bikes in their lineup and are supposedly releasing a FI version of one of their old Enduro/Dual sport bikes soon. That’s about all that will be left of their off-road offerings.

Here's the problem with new bikes:
1. catalytic converters are stupid
2. too many good used bikes for alot less than the inflated pricetags on new ones.

That is all.

A motorcycle "cash for clunkers" deal will probably come out in the next few years to rid the country of all of those older, affordable used bikes.
