New Puppy, Help me name it?

Keep em coming folks, Please!

As @Pineapple said, it's so easy to stereotype these big gentle guys with names like Gladiator or some silly shirt they are not. Right now I am leaning toward PUGSLY, WALDO OR BREWSTER. I will pick him up on Thursday AM and I am sure once I get to know him and he bites off a toe I'll just call him ToeJam or something.

how about

DROOL ?

You have to choose something unexpected, but not cliche(ie, not Butch, but also not Tiny) for a big dog. Preferably one that will either embarrass you to say, or others to hear.

Skidmarks
Snickerdoodle
Sharft
Cindy, Lord of the Compost Pile
Brie Larson
Sillybuns
When I was in high school I had a solid black german shepherd that I named Blondie.

Our male GP is named Jaxon.

Good looking pup. My wife named our English mastiff Ruger. He turned out to be her lap dog. 163lbs last vet trip at three years old. If I were naming him I would probably go Hercules like the dog from the sandlot.

Cerberus

Home for Cerberus was the Underworld, the domain of Hades, and the giant hound was given the job of guarding the domain. This meant that Cerberus would guard the Gates of Hell from unwanted intruders, and the monstrous dog would also patrol the banks of the River Acheron to prevent the shades of the deceased from escape.

Diogy (D.O.G.)

My daughter named her newest pup Alexander Hamiliton lol

We've an English Mastiff ourselves, named Bear, and he's capable of slinging slobber rockets on the ceiling. -sigh-

Great dog though, very protective of the kids. Would certainly own again. His father was 202lbs, but he's topped out at a light 175.

As for names, I like Ragnar and Cerebus that have already been mentioned.

Stain (think about it)
