We've an English Mastiff ourselves, named Bear, and he's capable of slinging slobber rockets on the ceiling. -sigh-

Great dog though, very protective of the kids. Would certainly own again. His father was 202lbs, but he's topped out at a light 175.

As for names, I like Ragnar and Cerebus that have already been mentioned.

Collecting possibilities is required, however, until that little face and attitude have presented himself to us and I see how he reacts when I get on his butt for peeing on the floor a few times then I will know which name fits.
