I have a friend that bought an expensive Sako rifle (around $2000) and he said that the stock is too heavy from him to carry in the woods. He is recovering from cancer and lost most of his strength. He is looking for some type of composite stock to replace the one that came on the gun. I know about the adjustable ones but he was looking for a simple stock.
Any suggestions

Left hand bolt?
Long action or short action?

Right hand and it is a 6.5 CM (short). I sent him information on the McMillan.
