I for one like the design. But for some odd reason I have always liked the tec-9 overall appearance.

Sure looks like a turd.
So does a Hi Point, but they are more reliable than a lot of big name handguns.

I mean, in theory, this thing is stupid simple. As long as they've done their job and used good materials, there's no reason it shouldn't work.

I see it has the same POS sights as the original.

Put a picatinny rail on it and thread the barrel, and I may be interested at the right price...

I liked the original just fine as a spray and pray sort of thing, but adding a stock etc..... I don't see the benefit over an AR pistol in 9mm with a brace.

I agree depending on the price... I like the compact capped version over the brace tube. Put a folding wire "brace" on it and you have something...

I always wanted a Skorpion for they very reason.

Were the Tec-9's all that bad? I've never fired one, but a friend had a Tec-22 and it ran like a top as long as you used good mags. We made some serious efforts to melt it down with 8.99 bricks, and it just kept on going.

I was young........but from what i can remember.....it had feeding issues. Some of that may have been from the 9mm ammo that was available at the time.
