Saw this stuff and grabbed some with my April ammo order. Was pretty close to regular Tula pricing but available with a 55gr or 62gr non-magnetic bullet. I've confirmed it won't stick to a magnet, but haven't fired it for accuracy yet, probably not for a few weeks.

Anyone already try it and can report back?

Wow, nice. Never seen it. I’m a Tulammo fan, so Id shoot it.

Finally got to put some of the 55gr and 62gr stuff down range on some paper. Out of my AR it's on par with the regular steel core stuff as far as accuracy goes. Only did slow fire 5 round groups @100 yards, so no crazy mag dumps, but no feed/fire/extract issues in my limited test.

Dang I need a bunch of this!!

Our club frowns on the magnetic on steel. And many matches don’t allow it.

I hope they release it in 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 too.

I doubt it will matter at most indoor ranges, since they can't resell the steel cases. Pretty sure that's 90% of 'steel core' bans, with the 'sparks' excuse just that.

We only ban ammo that attracts a magnet on our range owned steel targets, for obvious reasons. We still get holes in them from idiots.

Even with magnets on every range!

I take it that it's not an indoor range, and your reason is target damage and not "spark danger" which is complete bs in modern indoor range

Having worked at a modern indoor range, let me add this:

Not all the powder gets burned after a shot, particularly with pistols.
I used to sweep the indoor range (forward of the shooting positions) each night after closing.
Sweep all the debris into a pile and toss a match in it, floof! Giant fireball.
I do lend some legitimate concern for sparks on an indoor range.

how about the flames shooting out of the barrels on the shared pistol/rifle line? I know personally I have shot a rifle without flash suppression and seen 3ft flames shoot out others' guns. Guess that's okay?

Been at PDHSC when all the unburnt powder caught fire. Was pretty crazy!
