Has anyone shot any of this yet? I know that there are a lot of ranges that will not allow you to shoot steel washed or steel core bullets that are magnetic. Looks like Wolf has realized there is a market and is manufacturing ammo too meet the demand. The range I shoot at the most will not allow steel core/steel washed ammo I am thinking about picking some of this up so I can shoot my AK47 and AK74.

Just looking to see if anyone has used this stuff yet.

Been meaning to try the 223 they make.

It's a smart move as a lot of places seem to overestimate the armor piercing effectiveness of bimetal rounds.

If your backstop can't handle a mild steel and copperwashed jacket over a lead core, it and your policies suck. I hate shooting indoors for many reasons, but that is #1.

Once I had to unload several D60 drums and about 20 PMAGS while others waited in line at a local indoor range. They had to sweep a magnet over each one.... yep that's the last time I went.

I will add that bimetal Jacket is definitely hard (er) on steel plates than traditional FMJ rounds of the same velocity.

I have a bunch of 308 like this.. its nice! Cost is in-between surplus and commercial brass.

A nice middle road you might say.
