No permission to reply?

Why am I seeing a bunch of threads that simply say "you do not have permission to reply" ?

Some threads may have been moved by the Mods to a limited access forum. If so, and if you don not have access to that forum, you cannot reply.

On the Canadian site, I chose to forgo minefield access. If a thread was moved there, especially if I had replied, in Tapatalk I could still see the thread but it wouldn't let me pull it up. Thought I would mention this in case sonething similar may be happening.

So you have access to tortuga but couldn't reply when a thread got moved there?

Or didn't have access to tortuga and when the thread got moved there you could still see it but not reply?

I'm confused... it's Monday and my brain hurts.
 
Yeah - I was clear as mud....


At the time I didn't have Tortuga access
A post was made in some public forum and I had previously responded in that forum
The thread was then moved to Tortuga
I received an email notification that a new comment was posted to the thread
I clicked on the email link and could see the article in Tortuga.
Tried to add a new comment but could not. Did not have permission to reply

Odd. Was that before the conversion XF?
