North American Rescue - Stop the Bleed

Most hospitals who have a trauma center will do this, and they don't always advertise. As a designated trauma center they are required to do outreach. Mission in Asheville is a level II trauma center, so for those in the western part of the state please reach out to them @barf

I signed up for the 7/15 class at Wake Med/Cary just after this thread started. Looking forward to the class. Thanks georgel and Chuckman.

Interesting. Didn’t know this.

Is it a hands on class with bleeding dummies and the whole experience? I have no interest in just sitting through instruction.

Thanks 🙏🏻

It can be nothing more than a powerpoint and practice on each other, or it can be as elaborate as limb and wound trainers. Every instructor does it a bit differently so long as they cover course objectives.
