A valid point...but in recent years it's been much more difficult for the MSM to control all aspects of spin doctoring. And they found out their own tactics could be used against them in the last election, by essentially giving Trump TONS of free air time.
I'm still not sure they fully realize they were so easily manipulated by Trump's campaign manager(s) on that matter...they certainly don't act like they've learned anything. Which, again, suits me fine. Keep making the same mistakes over and over while expecting different results.

Remember these ANTIFA idiots tend more upperclass white type who think they are smarter and can get away with stuff because mommy and daddy gave them everything. They tend to be under the college influence arena from students to even professors. They do have other demographics that include saybthe LBGTEIEIO, Communist Workers type, etc but the true ANTIFA type is not BLM ... they may be at the same protest and such but not the same group. These face covered ANTIFA a-holes are using weapons but not all armed with firearms ... they use bricks, pee bottles, box cutters, etc and attack in hoards with somewhat surprise tactics. We on the Right tend to stick to our guns and are defensive so we have to react to a situation which we have to assess on the fly. Matching up person for person we’d clean house but if ANTIFA gets a “hoard” against a few of us Righters could be different ... and the liberal media would twist the storyline against us to worsen it. I worry about places were the numbers are vastly in ANTIFA’s favor like LA, NYC, Boston, etc or around NC Charlotte or RTP. As that Saturday approaches it will be very interesting to hear the rumblings and I will be on guard but I don’t see me being in an area where the first skirmishes will start ... those of you near or venturing near the more urban areas in the Carolinas where it might flash ... keep your head on a swivel and powder dry for the possible idiots.

More seriously, these folks don't need to "overthrow" the government in a traditional sense. Rather, I submit, they merely need to make the governing of the country untenable. Perhaps not unlike the stock market, that functions primarily on confidence in stability, should the "American Experiment" of government be shown to be incapable of maintaining order with such a diverse (divisive) body politic, the bubble of invincibility or the myth of supremacy (that our system is best/inevitable) will be burst and, I think, they "win."
Before anyone has a spittle-flecked-nutty, I'm not suggesting this will be the case or making any prognostication about the Fall of the American Republic (there was substantial civil unrest in the 60's and early 70's after all), but I am merely suggesting (along HMP's comment) that we not think of fighting/winning the last "war" as the forces of chaos surely are not.

Me personally, I would expect a bunch (all in their red & black w/ faces covered) screaming and such along with throwing objects of some form. Then there would be the occasional couple idiots with bats, pipes, etc along with maybe a knife or two. When things get mixing up with those mentioned above I’d expect a couple of the armed harder ones to be somewhere to the side to fire into the opposition and duck back into the mob. If there is no opposing Right group holding a rally or something who are they going after? LEOs? A person driving down the street? Businesses?
IF something goes down on November 4th it likely won’t be anything where those they jump on will be able to fight back just maybe defend themselves but these ANTIFA pansies will not go toe to toe with a prepared group from the Right. There is the dilemma ... the Right on November 4th will likely not be in groups of any size in most any place ... it will be the targeted token privileged white male who better be ready to fight and run for his own safety. I know I’ll steer clear of downtown areas, areas around colleges, etc ... just like those ANTIFA A-holes will not come out into the more rural areas where we do have firearms and know how to use them.

I do find it gratifying that they are openly admitting that they are communists and want communism to replace whatever form of government we have now. I read a blog yesterday where a guy was complaining about how he works in IT and the company got rid of all the actual employees and "rehired" them as contractors but still try to dictate the exact hours they have to be there, limit them to six minutes a day in the facilities, and impose a dress code, all while taking away medical coverage which he now needs to buy at much higher cost. He's understandably pissed off and he blames Trump and the Pugs and wants a communist revolution.
Now while his solution is misguided BS, I do understand that it's a problem when you expect American workers, paying American living expenses to directly compete with labor in a 3rd world dump. This is not a recipe for a strong economy or nation. What made this nation powerful over the last hundred years was mostly a strong and vibrant middle class but for many it's being reduced to a modern version of feudalism.
Now while his solution is misguided BS, I do understand that it's a problem when you expect American workers, paying American living expenses to directly compete with labor in a 3rd world dump. This is not a recipe for a strong economy or nation. Set up about 200 yrd away are a couple of the hard core guys- the kind that care only for the "Cause!". They have a couple 80% AR's they have mash together with 30 rd mags. They open up on the group marching for just 1 full mag. They drop the guns and just blend in with the running crowd with the black hoods/ masks.

All we will need is a grid coordinate...
Nov 3 & 4 just so happens to be my Reserve Batallions weapon qual weekend. There will be a few hundred soldiers running around with M-16's, M-4's, M-9's, as well as M-249's, M-240B's AND HMMWV's and LMTV's fitted out with M-2's and MK-19's.
