That is the MDT Ground Pod. Has the arca attachment that locks in anywhere along the rail. Light weight and reasonable price. Amazon has them. I like it better than the MDT Ckye Pod.

Well gentlemen, unless we have a late posting I think we can put the November/December Rimfire challenge in the books. Really enjoyed shooting this target supplied by @Eric F.
We had a tie between @Got2hav1 and I (amps13), both scoring 80. We really didn’t shoot a tie breaker but I came up with an easy way to decide and feel it’s fair. @Got2hav1 has to be the winner by clearing the toe and heel on same stocking. Congratulations to him and he will be picking our new target.
Just wanted to say thank you to all that have shot with us and posted their targets and rigs along with helping all of us get better. This especially goes for me as my skills have improved while my wallet has gotten much thinner.
Happy New Years and make sure you visit the Jan/Feb Rimfire Challenge for our new target.

Look for the Jan/Feb rimfire challenge thread. Read the rules, print target and you can shoot whenever u go to range. Post targets and your setup. Easy peasy ! Just fun to do.

Great idea, but many of us are scattered about the state. Some ranges restrict the # of guests. NC Wildlife ranges are open to all residents. After initial orientation video you get a # and are able use any of them, during hours posted. Wake is indoors and requires a reservation for an hour. Caswell is normally open Thursday to Sunday during posted hours. It may be worth a try to meet there if anyone is fairly close. First come first serve. Only 5 shooting stations for rifles out to 100 yds. Best days to get extended time is Thursday and Friday. Less than 1 hour drive for me. I would try another one, if it within 2 hours.
As @Eric F said, it would be hard to get a bunch together because of location but I wouldn’t mind trying when the weather gets better to maybe get a few of us who live close by to the same range. Most places are limited to so many lanes or are just crazy busy on weekends. Uwharrie is Kind of far off but they have like 10 rifle bays out to 100 yards. They are pretty dead during the week.

I have not been to Uwharrie, but I would make the trip during the week if we had a few shooters going. It's about 1.5 hours from me. It looks like they charge $10 for the day. Has anyone shot there?
I have been there a few times. It's not a bad range.
The dirt road leading to it can get really rough sometimes. Best to drive something with decent sized tires if possible.

It’s a decent range that’s run by the state so some of the rules are a tad dumb. Like you are not supposed to carry concealed while there. I usually do anyways but last time they saw my holster as I was leaned over and asked me to put in my car. You also have to stop at a store nearby to purchase the range pass.
