Looking for thoughts on this thing.
I'm seriously entertaining the thought of getting one for my Spikes Dissipator to replace the A2 compensator.
All experiences and thoughts welcome

The KX3 is fairly heavy (7oz) for just a flash can. It literally fulfills it’s name: flaming and pig.

Do you specifically want this type of muzzle device or what are you looking for as far as performance?

Don't own one. Shot a friend's, been around him shooting it a fair bit, 16".
Impressions: didn't seem any quieter than my brakes, doesn't really do anything for rise/recoil. Kinda at a loss to the point.

I had the KAK knock off on a 7.5" pistol build... Holy balls.

I think it's a novelty product at best now given then way FHs have evolved. Many other devices that are lighter and better at their job.

Buddy of mine has one on a 7" 5.56 pistol, he likes it but I don't see that it does anything more than the PSA flash can. Well except has that cool Noveske rollstamp.

Wait a sec.... I have that pistol!

So second opinion on the same pistol... yea, he's not wrong. It is loud but it does make the blast go 'away' from you but it acts like a rearward thruster more than something keeping the muzzle down.

I have the factory brake on my PLR16 (556 w/9" barrel) and that thing is crazy loud and blows crap off the ceiling/floors/all around the shooting area. We didn't get that level of flash and awe off the pig.

Thanks for the input fellas, I guess on a short(er) barrel the weight of the thing isn't so much of an issue, but performance is an issue, as is weight and its effect on accuracy.

Thanks again for the input

Anyone have an opinion on the Midwest industry's Blast diverter vs the flaming pig for use on a AR pistol?
The diverter is $29 & 4.1 Ounces.

Buy it and record some video around dusk for us!

I run a Surefire Warden on my AR-10. Looks cool and works like a charm

The MI is excellent quality and nicely finished with flutes. It's worth every penny if that is what you want. Personally, I would never pay for a FP when you can get the MI so cheap.
