NYC Is Safer Now

That post is hysterical.

"Precision policing" must be the new code for racial profiling. ;)

Lol. For a pack of beer and a $100 bucks I might let someone shoot me with that thing. The citizens of that liberal sinkhole must be feeling safer than ever.

Sure glad the police were doing their job. Somebody might have got kilt with that thang on the streets.

I would NOT say that to this crew.
I’ve a guy at work that’ll pay $100 to taze someone.

Well worn, but not rusted, musta been some serious pistoleros. Pearl grips increase the 22lr to Magnum status.

A good friend of mine, met through hockey, lives up there now. He's a photog for Ralph Lauren, was working here in the Triad and then moved his job to NYC.
His father is fairly conservative, former Marine (yeah yeah, "once a marine always a marine" I've heard it before). His mother, and she's so wonderful, is lib as hell.
He falls more left, for sure. That's fine, I love him no less.

But anyway, after a month of quarantine in his small apartment (it's about the size of my living room and dining put together, maybe kitchen too, but I think that'd still be larger than his place...and he pays hundreds more than my mortgage for that postage stamp size of a place), he came down here.
I was excited.
I was like, "cool, lets meet up at a part or something and talk" (at the time the weather was perfect - mid70s). He responds with some dumb crap about 'cant do that, got to stay indoors, virus is outside"
MFer, this aint the predator or something, youre not hiding from it, just keep a little distance if you dont know someone.

It's been about three weeks, we've texted a few times, that's it.

Well, I had to pile on -- not that the Keystone Kops needed any further abuse!

That's gonna give somebody a case of the vapors for sure....

Been tased and pepper sprayed...not shot with a 22lr yet though (or any caliber for that matter).
That must have been some party. :D

That only happened to me once...

when I loaded my Model 66 with .22lr.
I can't come up with a scenario where you might have done something like that. o_O

Ok, everybody is making fun of this and the official picture with the bullet in front of the barrel is hilarious. But, in the right hands a little .22 single action revolver is still a viable gun.

Just sayin'

You joke, but I was at a party (run by swingers, but not THAT kind of party... mostly... well, sometimes) where drunk people were running around and being generally indecent. Suddenly a cop car squealed in, lights and sirens...
"Dammit Claudio, you scared people!"
"haha, just wanted to stop by and say hi. anybody want to get tazed?"
I was juuust about to go for it when my friend said "wait, do you have to poop?"
"a little, maybe"
"then you do NOT want to get tazed right now"
Claudio loudly voiced his displeasure at our mutual friend giving away the trick he was trying to play on me.

The official photo indeed says a lot about the PR "skills" taxpayers are getting fleeced for. ...And agreed, I also would not want a close-range .22LR taking a couple bounces in my innards.
