I’m looking to buy (or cut down to) an 18.5” over under shotgun with a polymer stock. Any cheap suggestions? Making it as a bit of a meme but I will use it

Stoeger
I have one. I like it. The action was stiff in the beginning but that’s easy enough to polish in a few minutes and now it’s smooth. It has rails all over it. I put a red dot on it and it’s pretty slick. I’d recommend it but buy it in person to examine the action. I hear some are stiff and others aren’t.@BatteryOaksBilly I just looked at the Stoeger Double Defense 20" O/U which retails for about $500. Reviews seem to be pretty good. Do you have any experience with the gun?
Tacticool 2 shot…..is that like taking a 1911 to a Glock fight ?
Definitely not for any kind of serious use. Just a range toyMy issues with any low cost O/U shotguns comes from higher volume, more precision shooting, like sporting clays, trap or skeet. O/U shotguns can have barrels that are not well regulated, meaning they shoot to different points of impact. This wouldn't cause a big problem at defense shooting distances.
I asked the why of the OP for a reason. If it's for a game where you just get two shots at defense distances, then fine. For my home defense gun, I like a higher capacity than 2 shots. I also like a reliability factor that doesn't always come with low cost options in break open guns, especially O/U configurations.
The purest of reasons.Like I said it’s mostly for the meme value
Stoeger Condor Outback. Had mine fo about 6 years, comes with nice walnut, 20” barrel with fixed sights and screw in chokes and is chambered for 3” shells. Solid gun at a good price.I’m looking to buy (or cut down to) an 18.5” over under shotgun with a polymer stock. Any cheap suggestions? Making it as a bit of a meme but I will use it
