According to the spreadsheet, I've got about 26k rounds of wolf/tula steel case down range in various guns, and this is the first odd lot I've run in to so far. The 500 round factory sealed case has several types of ammo in it, and the plastic carriers are either clear or black. It's like they were just using up some scraps from several runs.
It all shoots fine, but some of it is crazy dirty. 100 rounds and the gun is filled with soot and smells really bad (like Brown Bear but even more sulfuric). I've not seen it like this before. It's not every box in the case, just these (below).
Anyone else have any of this lot and seen some really bad powder?
First CCI and now this.... but I don't think the Russians will swap it out like CCI did. Good thing I only have a few zillion rounds left to shoot up.
