Evidently its been a problem in the past.
@gunbelt, is this because of you?

I don't know about that. We're talking about "no open carry" signs. Don't the signage laws apply to concealed carry?

I don't open carry, so I never looked into it.

They don' say the "commissioned law enforcement" have to be in uniform...

"Pardon me, sir, but the sign on the door says we don't allow open carry of firearms."

"It's ok, I'm commissioned law enforcement."

"Oh, then that's fine. You must be under cover. Thank you!"

There are so many good reason to avoid movie theaters...
True dat! I used to go to Marvel movies with my kids, but Disney announced they will be making one every year, and I decided I don' wanna be their obedient moviegoer. If'n everybody says a movie is the best ever, I can wait for it to stream free on the internet.

Just say NO to movie theaters.

I have been to this theater many times. That sign is on one side of the box office, not on the doors. I take it as a carry on sign for concealed. Each time a have been there, there has always been a Union county deputy in the lobby. The cruiser sits out front in the plaza.

I haven't been to a theatre in 20 years, I don't think I've missed much except having to apply for a second mortgage to buy popcorn and a small drink!

I got popcorn and a drink last week and it was $15.00 !!

Almost gasped audibly.
