Daddy went on an elk hunt in Wyoming in the early 90s..... the locals said an antelope was just a goat with a racing rear end. He said their speed was unbelievable when they were stretched out.

Without a doubt. When they want to leave somewhere, they get gone in a hurry. They cover ground faster than anything I've ever seen.
 
What caliber were you hunting with? I can’t wait to go back to WY. I want to to a prairie dog hunt in MT also with my Valkyrie

Next year take yo a cardboard silhouette of a pronghorn to hold in front of you while you stalk.
You will be surprised at how that works.

Not a huge fan of silhouette stalking on public land. We did try the white hat trick though and it worked remarkably well on one of the shots I missed.
