OFFICIAL BOAT PICTURE THREAD!

Myrtle Beach is our most common "day trip" as in, it takes a day to get there and a day back!
I enjoy the ride, just enough activity/scenery that it's not boring but not as crowded as Wrightsville Beach.
About 7 hours from Wrightsville Beach to Barefoot.
I hauled last week for survey, bottom paint, zinc's and a thru hull... Splashed yesterday.
Boat = always something to spend$$ on.

Rob..........Yep, its 7 hours anyway you cut it, from Wilmington and or Wrightsville to MB.......... Love going up and down the Cape Fear, good waters......and like the area below the Socastee Swing Bridge to GT as well...... We are at the Grand Dunes, 5 miles further south from Barefoot. Just about the middle of the Ditch between to two swing bridges.

Cool Breeze is 50.5 feet tip to tip, and 15.5 beam. Twin Cummins 640 hp Diesels, top end speed 32 mph, but cruise speed at 1750 1800 rpm at 20-22 mph. But in the waterway most of the cruising is 10 mph or less, all the no wakes and boats, docks, houses and +++++........ can't make much time there..........Very Comfy, lots of room, nice full beam aft cabin, forward cabin, and what they call a mid cabin stateroom, but more like a kids hangout or storage room.

This was at Port City in Wilmington.........

Happy to say if all goes well, I'll be able to contribute to this thread in a week! Got a smurfy lappy in the works.

The only boat I ever owned was a yellow Liquid Logic Stingray kayak. I sold it when we moved last fall, mainly because it hadn't been in the water in the past four years. But it was a lot of fun.

We spent the weekend on the boat, very nice. Made me pretty lazy........ We decided early on because of Corona we would cancel trips this summer. Not a lot of point in traveling and can't do much, and or limited to what you can do once you arrive. I suppose we decided to sit the summer out at home dock, which is not all bad. We don't get out on weekends anyway, our area is flush with jet skis and pontoon boats looking to get killed. Fact is, we are damn lucky we don't get hit sitting at the dock! LOL............
