OK armed citizens stop active shooter, not as simple as it sounds.

The amount of what-if's in that article are enormous, and the amounts of what-did are few.
The usual scary hit piece cloaked in pious objectivity. The article is a flaming ball of a subliminal anti-gun propaganda in the hands of regular people diatribe.

That's definitely what the article is about but it should lead you to think about how it may shake out if it were to happen to one of us.

Exactly. They'd rather have a dozen innocent dead instead of one dead bad guy.

I love how the police said oh were glad noone else got hurt, but we don't want people being vigilantes thats why we have police. Not sure how any actions of those two were considered vigilante.

Whittle was the guy with the Glock, right?

Nazario, 35, said he heard five or six shots before he retrieved his .40-caliber Glock handgun from his car and headed for the restaurant.

He also apparently had the presence of mind to strap on his holster after grabbing the Glock from his car.

And what's the difference between a shooter and an active shooter? Srs.

I sincerely appreciated the article and learned a valuable lesson...

I need me a 40.
I was thinking of selling my G27 - I think I am going to keep it now, maybe stop being a wussy and practice with that gun that kicks like a mule

Grandpa has one. I put a fiber optic sight on it couple weeks ago.
He shoots tennis ball groups at 30 feet with it all day.
So he decides he needs something easier to carry, uh...ok, and gets a 38spl. j-frame airweight. Has the trigger slicked-up.
Result? All over the place. Can't hit the 8" shoot-n-c from 20 feet.
Of course I gently tell him that you can't have too many guns, but you need to stick with that G27....
