Old or Unusual Photos

More "unusual" than "old"...who can identify it?

Here are a couple from the family archives

This photo was taken in 1923 in Colorado Springs, CO at my grandparents grocery and hardware store. My Mom is a little under 3 years old and standing on the counter on the left side of the photo. My Grandfather (who was the local sheriff either before or after this photo was taken) is standing on the right side.

This photo is of my Dad, his cousin and a friend taken in 1949. Dad is on the left side of the photo admiring his cousin's Harley.

That hardware store photo is awesome. You can stare at it for minutes looking at the clothes they wore, their postures, facial expressions and so on. Cool old picture.

Those Garwood boats are so amazing. I lived on Lake Tahoe for a bit in my college days and there is a restaurant on the water called Garwoods with a few of those original beauties on display and tied up to the dock.

Good memories there @Geezer

Space Mountain - Disney World

Only reason I know is because I have seen it in there with the lights on...the ride malfunctioned.
Yep. I took those a couple years ago. We were on the little transportation train/ride and as we went through there it was down and all the lights on. Pretty cool.

If you guys don't know about it, Shorpy (http://www.shorpy.com/) is a great site for old and interesting photos. I always like old group photos, like this girls' rifle team from 1925:

Also old transportation pics. Check out this old gas powered street car from 1910.

That's most unusual, especially with Colin Farrell the Gigolo/Serial Killer...Damn, if Auntie Barfsalott's dress skids up any higher she'll need lipstick in two places!

What's funny is my wife daughter and I were there over Labor Day in 2015. We saw the exact same thing from the same "people mover".
